News

We want to thank some of our new sponsor partners as we head into 2017 and not forget to thank many that have been with us for over a decade.  We want to welcome PROcise Outdoors and Bob's Machine Shop in 2017.  We look forward to the same long-standing relationships we have had with Mercury Marine, Smith RV and Marine, Abu Garcia, Trilene, PowerBait, Simms, Charlie's Sporting Goods, Mack's Lure, Costa, Soaring Eagle Lodge, and Genesis Signs.  We will be running a new wrap from Genesis Signs this year highlighting one of our key new partners in 2017, Hanseatic Management Services, Inc., an independent, fee-only investment advisor located in Albuquerque, NM.  Be sure to check out our Sponsors and Partners page for more info on each of these great companies.

Bob's Machine Shop was founded in 1978, with the belief that quality creates its own demand.

Our mission is simple: to provide the best products and service to our customers at the lowest prices possible. We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service and in the products we sell. Our online store is designed to provide you with a safe and secure environment to browse our product catalog.

We are proud to manufacture our own products in house, on our own machinery.

ABQ Sportfishing is proud to be partnering with Procise Outdoors and running their Dek-It series of mounts in 2017.  Great company, great people.

Today’s locators are bigger and better than ever so PROcise Outdoors created a mount unlike all the rest! Stop watching your console mounted electronics bang and bounce around putting unneeded stress on wires and the locator it self. This durable mount is built to withstand anything mother nature can throw at you and puts all the information on the screens directly in front of you so you wont miss a thing!

ABQ Sportfishing has been partnered with St. Croix rods for 7 years.  During that time we have continued to stay current on rod technology and test the competition.  The "Best Rods On Earth" is not just a slogan, it is a way of life at St. Croix and that passion is represented across their product line and through their people.

  • From James Dominguez NM DGF:  It won’t be long before anglers will be hitting the waters.   The NMDGF AIS program plans to conduct watercraft inspections at various waterbodies throughout New Mexico.  Per rule, all conveyances or equipment having left the state or conveyances or equipment with out of state registrations will be required to stop for an inspection prior to launch.    All conveyances or equipment exiting a waterbody can voluntarily stop for a Clean, Drain and Dry inspection.  By stopping on their way out, they can receive a wire seal tag that will expedite an inspection for their next boat outing.  Your assistance in getting the word out to tournament anglers, recreational anglers and pleasure boaters would be much appreciated.  For those anglers that leave the state for a tournament or other fishing event, please encourage them to contact NMDGF ahead of time and we can try and make the inspection/decontamination process as convenient as possible.  If you check out our website, you will find a GIS map with current watercraft inspection locations.   The hope is that anyone with a smartphone will access it and find the nearest inspection station.  http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/fishing/fishing-regulations/aquatic-invasive-species/  You can also follow us on our Facebook page.   www.facebook.com/aquaticaliens
