2018 3 Rivers Bass Championship

The meeting for the event will be this Wednesday September 12th from 6-7 pm.  The meeting is NOT mandatory but I need to know if you are fishing the Championship by Wednesday night so I know how much money we have in the pot!  If you fished all 6 events there is no entry fee, if you have fished 5 events you will owe $100 and if you fished 4 events you will owe $200.  You can look at the AOY Standings on to find out how many events you fished.  There is also a $20 per day big fish pot.

I will send out a tournament announcement Wednesday night after the meeting for those of you that cannot make it.  On Saturday you will go out via your finish in AOY standings.  On Sunday your boat number will be based on your weight from Saturday.  If you are leading after Saturday you will be first out Sunday.

Monarch Hot Shot, Four Corners Sandblasting, and Four Corners Community Bank will be putting on a fish fry for the event at Sportsman's Restaurant immediately following weigh in on Saturday. ATLEAST ONE MEMBER OF EVERY TEAM NEEDS TO STOP BY SPORTSMANS AFTER WEIGH AND GET THEIR BOAT NUMBER FOR SUNDAY.  I will not be sending out boat numbers Saturday night so if you don't show up to Sportsman's you will be last out on Sunday.

We will not have a raffle this year instead we will be doing a give away, I have some rods, gift certificates, discount cards, as well as oil and other boating accessories to give away Saturday night during the fish fry!

We will weigh in on the gas dock Saturday and the Pavilion on Sunday.

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me a message.

Thanks everyone for another great year, cant wait to do it one more time this weekend.

We want to thank some of our sponsor partners as we wind down 2017 and not forget to thank many that have been with us for over a decade.  The PROcise Outdoors mounts we ran all year were flawless and the Bob's Machine Shop Action Jac Gen II Series jackplate and accompanying swim ladder were equally flawless.  We look forward to the same long-standing relationships we have had with Mercury Marine, Smith RV and Marine, Abu Garcia, Trilene, PowerBait, Simms, Mack's Lure, Costa, Soaring Eagle Lodge, and Genesis Signs.

The new wrap from Genesis Signs this year did a great job highlighting one of our key new partners in 2017, Hanseatic Management Services, Inc., an independent, fee-only investment advisor located in Albuquerque, NM.  Be sure to check out our Sponsors and Partners page for more info on each of these great companies.

Bob's Machine Shop was founded in 1978, with the belief that quality creates its own demand.

Our mission is simple: to provide the best products and service to our customers at the lowest prices possible. We take great pride in our company, our commitment to customer service and in the products we sell. Our online store is designed to provide you with a safe and secure environment to browse our product catalog.

We are proud to manufacture our own products in house, on our own machinery.

ABQ Sportfishing is proud to be partnering with Procise Outdoors and running their Dek-It series of mounts in 2018.  Great company, great people.

Today’s locators are bigger and better than ever so PROcise Outdoors created a mount unlike all the rest! Stop watching your console mounted electronics bang and bounce around putting unneeded stress on wires and the locator it self. This durable mount is built to withstand anything mother nature can throw at you and puts all the information on the screens directly in front of you so you wont miss a thing!

ABQ Sportfishing has been partnered with St. Croix rods for 8 years.  During that time we have continued to stay current on rod technology and test the competition.  The "Best Rods On Earth" is not just a slogan, it is a way of life at St. Croix and that passion is represented across their product line and through their people.

Miralles: September Reactionary Bites

Night temperatures are beginning to fall and that’s a sure sign that fall is just around the corner. It also means that fishing for kokanee and landlocked Chinooks is coming to an end in some areas. On a positive note, September is a month when you can catch some of your biggest fish of the year. Catching these big fish can be a challenge, though.
